It was awesome. I've been following the show throughout it's 1month+ broadcast. My mom and I thought it was your first time acting and kept complimenting you! I googled you after the show and well it turns out you're not that new to acting after all! Nevertheless, you did a really good job in portraying your character and I'm looking forward to seeing you more on television! Stay handsome!
P.S. You look really thin in the drama! Are you really that thin, or was it just television deception? Anyway, stay healthy!
Seriously, I thought your acting is quite exaggerated at times. I don't really know how to explain it, but the exaggeration is there.
You are blessed with aesthetically pleasing features...make full use of it. It's defintely more 吃香 to play the good-looking-but-CAN-act-idol than an ugly, horrible, evil cheeko-pek. I hope you get what I mean. Be a versatile actor who can act well, not with exaggeration please. Pray hard that you will land up in pleasing to the fans roles.
Work hard in this brand new year. I know you will succeed and make it big one day.

I thought you did a great job for a newbie. Honest. I particularly like the last episode with that big showdown between Tianbao, Robert and Charlie Zhang. You portrayed the crazed desperate man very well.
Yes, I agree that some bits came across as slightly exaggerated but overall, it is all good.
I'd give you an 8 out of 10 for your performance! Continue to work hard and jia you :)
I think little nyonya is very nice,before the show starts,i thought it would be some boring and those really old shows?but after watching the 1st episode,i can't miss any single episode of it,even if i'm busy,i will make sure tat it is recorded!..overall its a really nice show!!..
and i think ur acting quite good,esp the last episode!the scene where u killed robert and charlie!..lolx~!..nice nice..really looking forward to ur next show,and maybe little nyonya will have part 2???HOPEFULLY there will be!!jiayou and keep up the good work!=D

Totally love little nonya loads! now that the last episode had ended yesterday, i'm missing it already.
I felt that you really brought out your character as a spoilt brat and someone who can do anything just for money and status & everything. The character is just so sickening and !@#$% !!! No worries, that's a compliment for you. (:
If you can make someone hate you (or rather your character) in the show so much, it means you made it~ you pull off the role well!) THUMBS UP!~ xD same for ROBERT/ CHARLIE/ ZHENZHU/ MEIYU/ GUI HUA!!
& kudos to leads like yue niang/ chen xi/ yu zhu/ all those who took part & all the behind scene heros~

HAHA! And I forgot to add..I think the only thing Alexandra did it right in his whole entire life was to kill both Charlie Zhang and Robert Zhang. He was exterminating the baddies and upholding justice, what's wrong? He shouldn't be sentenced to death what! :P

Zy, Thanks for your comment! I know where you are coming from, but I believe a actor is someone who plays a character well, no matter it be a suave hero or a old pervert. I'm not saying only want to play bad evil roles but i dun believe in only playing roles that will make me look good and become an idol. think edward norton! Urm... Little Nonya was generally okay luh. But I don't like the ending. It's kinda disappointing. Yea.
By the way, did you notice the banners and ads that ask us to "Start it, Show it, Share it"? I find they're pretty meaningful and I thought you'll be interested in it as well. The "Start it, Show it, Share it" line is for a kindness campaign. It's a campaign to urge Singaporeans to be kinder to make Singapore a nicer place to live in. So yea.. Seriously in that show, you as tian bao made ppl hate you for being so greedy for $$ and betray family members, but pity for you when at the end you get you own punishment, some even find you disgusting but you did a great acting job!
Caused this kind of role, if you managed to get ppl to hate you, means you success. You did well, so don't doubt yourself and your acting. =)
to say the truth, i doubted your acting skills when you first won the star search. But i think Little Nonya is your break through, I can feel your attitude towards bring the best out of your character. You look really villain, which means you are good.
I must say from here onwards, i look forward to seeing more of your shows. With more opportunities, i am sure you will find the right blend and less exaggeration to look fierce or evil.

haha yeah there were times when my bro and I thought that your acting were over exaggerated. but i must say, on the whole, you perform not bad. if tianbao character is supposed to be blur and naive, then i think you portrayed that well.. because i was laughing over the things tianbao did.
anyway, keep it going. if performing is a passion that motivates you, keep it burning and try as many roles as u can while you are still young.=) i love performing but never got to take it this far as you did.
looking forward to you channel 5 TV drama. =)

the show was great, the plot has loopholes at times, and your acting was, quite frankly, ok. don't fret if there are negative comments. look upwards and you have only one way to head: up!
Random but I LOVE Edward Norton. He's not the typical good-looking hot hunk (i.e. Mr Pitt) but he was just excellent in the movie "Primal Fear". Go borrow the dvd if you can find it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Primal_Fear_(film)

u acted quite fine. jus that ...u should stay more focused and probably the way(as in tone and speed) you say your lines also make a big difference in potraying the character you want....try not to talk like you do normally. Create the character through inner interaction with yourself and thoroughly understand the role well before you act it out...and not acting-acting. I think with that you will improve alot. Nonetheless Jia you. Great Effort.
